Neiwan is the terminal station of Neiwan Railway Line. Quietly nestled in the hilly Hengshan area and beside the Youluo River, the small township is a famous sightseeing spot with streets packed with tourists on holidays. Immigrants arrived at the small township to cultivate the land in the Qing Dynasty. Today, the small township boasts an unparalleled natural beauty which includes brilliant cherry blossoms in spring, profuse white tung blossoms in May, and fireflies flashing in the mountain at night in summer. You can also find a coffee house with great views at the opposite of the river and enjoy a lazy afternoon. A less than 10-minute drive from Neiwan will take you to the Jianshi hot springs. As an area for Atayal communities, there are a lot of hot springs and indigenous cuisines to choose from. Come and experience the unparalleled beauty of nature and the warm simplicity of indigenous culture!
